This painting is of a garden bench near the tunnel entrance to the Hendrie Rose Garden at the Royal Botanical Gardens. This place is so dear to my heart because I would come here almost every week with my daughter and now both my kids. My daughter loved the tunnel and would run through it yelling to hear the echo, and when we were walking back from our explorations we would often sit on one of these shady benches to have a snack. I would always admire the dappled sunlight, it is so beautiful there.
