This is a small oil painting from a photograph of Peggy’s Cove that I took while visiting there with my sister in the autumn of 2019. I did some sketches on location but the light was fading fast so most of my references were photographs. I was so inspired by the light on the rocks that as of writing this, all of my paintings of Peggy’s Cove haven’t even included the lighthouse!
