Rose Garden in Autumn (Original Oil Study)

$360.00

One of my favourite spots, this was painted from sketches I made at the Hendrie Rose Garden, part of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON. In the autumn, the rose garden is very peaceful and filled with the companion plants that fill the garden when the roses are no longer blooming at peak - waves of colours being hit perfectly by the warm sunlight that autumn in Canada does best. This day was so special because I was mostly alone in the garden and I just moved here and there, sketching and enjoying the serenity.
