Lilac Dell in Early Evening Original Oil Painting

$375.00

At the end of May 2023 I was very into lilacs and this is one of the paintings I made at that time. This is done partially on location at the Lilac Dell, but the sun set and I lost the light so packed up and finished working on it from home from photos I had taken and memory. We went back to the arboretum as a family a bunch of times that month and this painting brings to mind the sound of my children rolling down the arboretum hills and laughing while they fly their kite. It’s truly a place like no other!

Lilac Dell in Early Evening
11 inches by 14 inches by 1/4 inch
Oil on wood panel (requires framing)

Painting is signed on the front and varnished with a removable UV varnish.
