Lilac Walk Original Oil Painting

During my spring 2023 obsession with lilacs I painted this cute plein air piece at the Royal Botanical Gardens Arboretum in Hamilton, ON. It was such a lovely day and so many visitors to the garden said such encouraging things to me while I painted (including a school tour group who loudly cheered me on! Ha!). I really love how some of the purple and green tones blend in this one, there are a couple of sections of paint that I really love and have come back to look at multiple times.
