St. Andrews Street West Reflections Original Oil Painting

This painting was one of three completed for the 2023 Elora Plein Air Festival - a four day adventure where artists from far and wide arrive in Elora to paint all of the beautiful scenery and then a juried show at the end! I had it in my head to paint a window reflection even though I knew it would be quite a challenge to do properly en plein air and I was so pleased my many hours spent painting paid off with an honourable mention in the show. As I was standing in a very public place there were lots of visitors and comments which kept me smiling and laughing through the two days I painted there.
