'Morning at Boiler Beach' Limited Edition Giclee Print

$125.00

A limited edition (of 100) print of an original watercolour that took 8 months of effort to complete.

This painting is of a beach that is dear to my heart, and the reference photo was taken on a sunny morning while my kids played nearby. I am fascinated by the way water moves around rocks, and the clear glistening surface on this day allowed for so many complex reflections and peeks beneath the surface of the water.

The boiler for which this beach is named is far away in the top right corner, the boiler of the steam tugboat ‘Erie Belle’ which exploded in 1883.

The largest and most detailed watercolour I have done to date, and I am able to stare at it endlessly, my eye never fails to catch on a new ripple, reflection, or shadow and I personally find the painting very soothing to behold.

Print Size is a match to the original painting, 19 3/4 inches tall and 22 5/8 inch wide (with an additional white border around), and will require a custom mat as that is not a standard frame size. Each print is numbered out of 100 editions, signed and titled on the lower border.
